Funding Opportunity Description The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on evaluating the efficacy of managed introduction and seed augmentation to improve viability of rare plant species and identifying causes of rarity for rare plant species in southern Arizona. This will increase the understanding of Federal trust resources and improve management of rare plant species. The species of interest are Amsonia kearneyana Woodson (federally listed as endangered) and Pectis imberbis A. Gray (in review for listing). |
