The NC DTL will provide training and technical assistance (TTA) that reflects current evidence, is research-informed, and promotes best practices. The NC DTL TTA efforts will improve early childhood development and promote school readiness through effective teaching, home visiting, and inclusive practices that support children who may experience a broad range of adversity. Because of the complex work the NC DTL will conduct, the grantee will be expected to bring together knowledgeable subrecipients within the field of early childhood development, teaching, and learning.
